The guardian of the family in 500 years ago. The creature is no longer exist. It was the combination of lion, leopard and meerkat. It had been sculptured and put at the main gate to stop the villains as well as preventing bad luck.

I learned Chinese painting for 19 years. Started the acrylics painting 13 years ago. For crafting, I first got into candle crafting, and then wood, and now natural jade crafting. Like all other natural resources, Jadeite is merely stone laying on the ground, mountains, at the bottom of brook or deep in the ocean. Do respect creator who give us such beautiful gift which has to be waited for billion years before it starts sparkly.

HOW AND WHAT TO CHOOSE?

TONE

Normal / Good / Fine / Great / Excellent / Extra Fine

Tone can be classified into 5 grades based on its:

Glitter
Smoothness
Density
Distribution of color(s)

The greater the tone the better for collection. It is part of the natural evolvement from our mother earth. Best tone will have to be under earth for billions years.

CLARITY AND TEXTURE

100% ~ 0%

The less the better. The best piece can look like glass (zero ruggedness) , but it is jade. The jades with the best in texture are usually great for personal ornaments or jewels.
